ASR+ is a comprehensive product designed to facilitate the process of identifying, presenting, and closing to a sale those repair and maintenance needs discovered via the dealership’s Multi-point Vehicle Inspection Process (“MPVI”).
All too often dealers unwittingly squander 30-50% of these opportunities due to some very preventable elements in this process. They either don’t sell the value of the inspection process, fail to properly inspect the vehicle, present the inspection results in a less than impressive manner, or don’t follow-up on declined work effectively. Worse yet, if they have a process to ensure that the above activities take place, they are very inconsistent in their application.
It has been proven over and over again that a consistent addressing of legitimate additional service request sales will add 3-5 tenths in customer labor sales per repair order written. This fact, in and of itself, makes this the most significant opportunity for increasing profitability in the vast majority of service departments. Remember this improvement is not dependent on increasing traffic but on addressing the present customer more effectively. It also might be noted that dealer service departments who have switched to an MPVI based relationship with their customers have increased their retention numbers as well.
Our product is primarily directed to developing these opportunities in your service department. We begin by assessing your current situation and defining a process to include a proper reception, inspection, presentation, and sustainment elements. We define those areas in such a way that they can be monitored and facilitated through the use of existing technology in the shop and enhanced software. We train each participant in the process not only in the rudimentary operation of the software but in the successful use of the resulting information to close to a sale. We recognize the importance of sustainment of any improvement gained as a result of your investment of time and money. That being said, the department manager will receive not only installation based training in interpretation of the available reports but a monthly review with his assigned consultant. This monthly review will include, but not be limited to, past month’s performance, potential issues, and suggested corrective measures.
Your cost for this product is $12,455 plus related travel expenses. This includes 5 days of onsite installation and training by your ATcon consultant, the software, and 3 months of licensing. Your charge for continued use of the system, monthly phone evaluation with your consultant, 1 day of onsite assistance per quarter, and any updates to the software is $1,195/month.
