The 5x5 Pay Plan is a computer-driven method of creating and administering performance-based compensation for personnel in the dealership fixed operational departments. It was originally designed for Service Advisors or Assistant Service Managers (commonly known as "ASM's"). However, the 5x5 Pay Plan has proven to be just as effective in its application for use with other production-related personnel such as parts department personnel, body shop estimators and body shop parts department personnel. In short, it can be used for virtually any person whose job effectiveness can be measured by objective means.
